Develop people and relationships through a focused vocabulary itinerary.
Core vocabulary
Learn people words with their articles: un amico or un’amica (a friend), un collega or una collega (a colleague), un fratello or una sorella (a sibling). Then learn social actions as short phrases: invitare qualcuno (invite someone), mandare un messaggio (send a message), and chiedere un favore (ask a favour).
- Elena è una collega di Giulia.· Elena is a colleague of Giulia.
- Marco è il fratello di Giulia.· Marco is Giulia’s brother.
- Posso invitare i suoi amici del lavoro.· I can invite her friends from work.
- Mando un messaggio a Marco.· I am sending a message to Marco.
Collocations and useful chunks
For help, use «Puoi farmi un favore?» to ask and «Posso aiutarti» to offer. «Ho bisogno di aiuto» says you need help. For an event, use «organizzare una festa» and «invitare gli amici». Say each phrase aloud, then make one new sentence about a party.
