A problem at the hotel

The situation
Maya requested a double room for two nights, 12–14 May. The hotel confirmation shows only one night, 12–13 May. Follow the short exchange and note what the receptionist must correct.
- Buonasera. Ho una prenotazione a nome Maya Chen.· Good evening. I have a booking under the name Maya Chen.
- Ho chiesto una camera doppia per due notti.· I asked for a double room for two nights.
- Nella conferma vedo solo una notte.· In the confirmation I see only one night.
- Può correggere la prenotazione, per favore?· Can you correct the booking, please?
Target language in context
At reception, state your name, the confirmed dates, and the dates you need. Ask for a corrected confirmation before you discuss price. The phrases «alla reception», «nella conferma», and «della camera» combine a preposition with an article.
- Vorrei restare dal 12 al 14 maggio.· I would like to stay from 12 to 14 May.
- Controllo il prezzo della camera.· I am checking the room price.
- La colazione è nella sala al piano terra.· Breakfast is in the room on the ground floor.
- La reception mi manda una nuova conferma.· Reception sends me a new confirmation.
