Complete the exercises without notes first. This checkpoint covers passato-prossimo-vs-imperfetto, trapassato-prossimo together with travel problems, turning points, emotions.

Final communication mission
A local radio programme asks for a two-minute personal story called The Journey That Changed My Plan. Record a first-person account for its listeners. Say where you were going, what you had prepared before leaving, what went wrong during travel, who helped you or what you decided, and how your view changed. Use one trapassato form for an earlier event, imperfetto for background, and at least three passato prossimo events. End with the lesson of the story. A listener must be able to reconstruct the timeline and the turning point.
