Present reflexive verbs
Add the second grammar system and use it in controlled sentences.
Present reflexive verbs
A reflexive verb uses mi, ti, si, ci, vi, si before the conjugated verb. The pronoun refers back to the subject.
Use reflexive verbs for many daily actions. In a negative sentence, non comes before the reflexive pronoun. With times, use alle or all’una.
- Mi sveglio alle sette.· I wake up at seven.
- Ti alzi presto?· Do you get up early?
- Si prepara in dieci minuti.· He/She gets ready in ten minutes.
- Ci incontriamo alle cinque.· We meet at five.
