Multi-source synthesis
Write a source-attributed decision brief from the complete dossier.
Write for a decision maker
Write a 360–430-word Italian brief for the fictional Pontechiaro council. The council is considering what information it needs before discussing another repair-workshop series; it has not approved one. Integrate at least four of the five dossier sources. Explain why 96 entries do not mean 96 verified people, why 42 of 68 objects working at session end do not establish durability, why 31 of 37 voluntary replies are not bookings, and why €1,460 in invoices is not full economic cost. Treat the resident’s transport message as a targeted question, not a city-wide statistic. Use a clear claim, contrasting evidence, and a conditional recommendation.
- Secondo il registro, si sono verificati novantasei ingressi.· According to the register, 96 entries occurred.
- La nota pubblica li presenta come «quasi cento cittadini».· The public note presents them as “almost 100 citizens.”
- Il questionario indica interesse fra trentuno rispondenti, non prenotazioni.· The questionnaire indicates interest among 31 respondents, not bookings.
- Il promemoria finanziario documenta soltanto le fatture considerate.· The finance memo documents only the invoices considered.
Revise the source trail
Give each paragraph a source purpose: measured activity, competing interpretation, missing outcomes, and next checks. Use two implicit clauses only where the actor is clear, and report at least two claims indirectly with their original degree of certainty. Add a compact source note that names which source supports each numerical claim. Revise first for unit, denominator, timeframe, and attribution; then for Italian syntax and flow. Do not paste the source pack into the brief or flatten distinct sources into a single voice.
- Dopo aver distinto ingressi e codici, l’analista evita un conteggio falso.· After distinguishing entries and codes, the analyst avoids a false count.
- Confrontando le schede, rileva un esito immediato, non durevole.· Comparing forms, the analyst finds an immediate, not durable, outcome.
- L’associazione sostiene che il progetto abbia coinvolto quasi cento cittadini.· The association claims that the project involved almost 100 citizens.
- La residente riferisce che avrebbe voluto partecipare, ma il bus era difficile.· The resident reports that she would have liked to attend, but the bus was difficult.
