Frame a formal recommendation for a fictional public archive pilot.
The Valdombra symposium
All people, records, figures, and decisions in this Tappa are fictional. The Valdombra culture committee is considering Memoria del ponte, a six-week public-archive pilot about the 1904 bridge episode introduced in C1 Tappa 6. Curator Silvia proposes digitising 24 pages and displaying four permitted family excerpts. The estimated budget is €12,000: €6,000 for scanning, €4,000 for captions and access, and €2,000 for rights and consent checks. The committee has not voted. Its members want a source-aware recommendation at a public symposium.

An argument with boundaries
A useful presentation separates five moves: historical sequence, source quality, proposed public value, risks and conditions, and a final recommendation. Do not claim that closing the bridge in 1904 saved a known number of people. Do not call the €12,000 estimate an expenditure already authorised. A formal speaker can recommend a conditional six-week pilot while leaving the actual decision to the committee.
