From raw material to product
Follow used paper through a fictional cooperative.
The material and its route
CartaLuce is a fictional cooperative. Every Monday it collects used paper from three schools. Workers give each batch a code, sort out staples and plastic, shred and mix the usable paper with water, then press, dry, and cut sheets for notebooks. Learn the sequence before you study passive forms. This case does not describe a real legal or certification system.

A product with a traceable check
Under fictional internal procedure P-4, five sheets from each batch are checked. A defective batch is set aside. The quality group releases a batch internally before it is bound, packed, and delivered to two school shops. A municipal environment office receives a monthly report; it does not certify each notebook.
