Complete B1 mission

Hand off the weekend case with clear facts, an opinion, and open questions.

Cumulative retrieval

Answer the ten questions without notes first. This checkpoint draws on B1 past tenses, polite conditional forms, the present subjunctive, combined pronouns, connectors, and evidence checks. Then return to the dossier or call script to explain every correction. A correct form must also fit the meaning.

  • Quando ho telefonato, Paolo aveva già preparato i cartelli.· When I called, Paolo had already prepared the signs.
  • Potremmo iniziare l’accoglienza dopo le 11:10.· We could start visitor welcome after 11:10.
  • Penso che il percorso accessibile sia essenziale.· I think the accessible route is essential.
  • Paolo chiede l’avviso del ritardo; glielo inoltro.· Paolo asks for the delay notice; I forward it to him.

Final handoff to two readers

You are Sara on Saturday after the call, before the 16:00 meeting. Giulia, a new volunteer, has not read the weekend dossier. Record a two-minute voice message for her: explain the expected train change, how the library team plans to adapt, the correct access route, and what remains undecided about Piazza del Tiglio. Then write a 130–160-word note to the association. In the note, state your view on the proposed trial, give two conditions, distinguish one personal observation from measured data, and ask who will collect reports and when they will be reviewed. Use a past sequence, one polite conditional proposal, one appropriate subjunctive clause, and a connector. Do not claim that the trial was approved or that the expected train time was its confirmed arrival.

  • L’avviso prevedeva un arrivo alle 10:55; non confermava l’arrivo effettivo.· The notice expected an arrival at 10:55; it did not confirm the actual arrival.
  • Quando ho telefonato, Elena e Paolo avevano già preparato i primi cartelli.· When I called, Elena and Paolo had already prepared the first signs.
  • La porta laterale di Via del Porto offre un percorso senza gradini.· The Via del Porto side door provides a step-free route.
  • Potrei sostenere la prova, ma prima il gruppo deve chiarire accesso, consegne e segnalazioni.· I could support the trial, but the group must first clarify access, deliveries, and reports.
