My first profile

Write a short complete text and check it with a clear language checklist.

Writing task

Write a profile of 50-70 words. Use a greeting, five facts, and a closing expression. Check capital letters for names and countries, the accent in è, and non before the verb.

Use short correct sentences. Join two facts with e or ma only when the link is clear.

  • Buongiorno, mi chiamo Oliver.· Good morning, my name is Oliver.
  • Sono di Liverpool e sono inglese.· I am from Liverpool and I am English.
  • Parlo inglese e francese.· I speak English and French.
  • Studio italiano a Firenze.· I study Italian in Florence.

Model and editing check

Use the models as sentence frames, but change the information. Check verbs, agreement, small words, spelling, accents, and punctuation before you finish.

  • Non sono a Firenze per lavoro.· I am not in Florence for work.
  • Sono qui per un corso.· I am here for a course.
  • Oggi sono felice.· Today I am happy.
  • A presto!· See you soon!
