Prepare a five-minute contribution
You are an invited mediator at the fictional Valdombra symposium. Address the culture committee in formal Italian for about five minutes. Structure the talk in five parts: 1904 chronology; the four document types and their limits; the proposed six-week scope; the €12,000 estimate and permission position; and your recommendation. Attribute at least one supportive and one critical concern to Elena and Mauro, without presenting either as a representative vote. Recommend a conditional pilot only if rights, access, cost comparison, and a committee decision are secured.

Answer two committee questions
After the talk, answer both questions aloud: «Il progetto è già approvato?» and «Quante persone furono salvate dalla chiusura?» Give a direct answer, then a short reason tied to a document. If practising alone, read the questions aloud before answering. Time the presentation, revise one overlong sentence into two clearer ones, and check that the talk does not turn four permitted short quotations into permission for six complete letters. Use passato remoto for the 1904 events and present or conditional forms for today’s sources and proposal.
