You are Elena, the director of the fictional archive. Write 220–260 Italian words to the current archive board. Explain the 2019 choice between the €38,000 digital inventory and the €35,000 interview pilot within a €40,000 fund. State that the inventory was completed in 2020 and the interviews were not started. Express one regret about the process, one type 3 alternative, and one uncertainty about Antonio’s possible consent. Propose one concrete future safeguard. Do not present imagined testimony as fact.

Revise the balance of the account
Use four paragraphs: the decision and reason, the real result, regret and uncertain alternative, future action. Check that the council shared the decision and that no one knows whether Antonio would have agreed to be recorded. Check past conditional forms and agreement with essere. Keep a formal, responsible tone instead of blaming one person for every outcome.
- La decisione fu condivisa con il consiglio.· The decision was shared with the council.
- Non sappiamo se Antonio avrebbe dato il consenso.· We do not know whether Antonio would have given consent.
- Per il futuro chiederemo preventivi per progetti ridotti.· In future we will ask for quotes for smaller projects.
