Compression mission

Correct an overconfident brief without making it long.

Retrieve the two sources

Without notes, state the fictional study design: fifteen tables, four Tuesday afternoons before and four after, the same 16:00–18:00 window, 160 versus 200 entries, and eighteen returned questionnaires of twenty-five approaches. Explain what twelve respondents said and what the study did not measure. Check your facts against the full extracts.

  • Nei periodi osservati gli accessi sono passati da centosessanta a duecento.· In the observed periods, entries went from one hundred and sixty to two hundred.
  • Diciotto persone hanno risposto; dodici hanno indicato un uso più facile.· Eighteen people replied; twelve reported easier use.
  • Gli accessi non sono persone distinte.· Entries are not distinct people.
  • Il rumore non è stato misurato.· Noise was not measured.

Final correction for a board meeting

You are Giada. A draft board note says: “The tables brought forty new people; all users prefer them; the room became quieter.” Give a 90-second Italian correction to the library council and send a 170–210-word Italian replacement note. Correct all three claims. Preserve the actual counts and questionnaire denominators, name the missing comparison group and noise measure, and recommend a two-month extension with better counting and an access check. Use a gerund with a clear actor, a past infinitive, and a correctly agreed participial phrase. Keep the text concise without removing uncertainty.

  • Confrontando i registri, ho rilevato quaranta accessi in più, non quaranta persone nuove.· Comparing the logs, I found forty more entries, not forty new people.
  • Dopo aver letto i moduli, ho separato le risposte dai conteggi.· After reading the forms, I kept answers separate from counts.
  • Esaminate le risposte, noto che dodici su diciotto indicano un uso più facile.· With the replies examined, I note that twelve of eighteen report easier use.
  • Senza misure del rumore, non possiamo affermare che la sala sia più silenziosa.· Without noise measurements, we cannot claim that the room is quieter.
