Postcard and daily plan

Write a short complete text and check it with a clear language checklist.

Writing task

Write two linked texts: a 90-word plan for tomorrow and a 70-word postcard about today. The plan uses present forms for arranged events. The postcard reports the day with the A1 forms that you know.

Include times, places, food, transport, one person, and one opinion.

  • Domani visito Bologna.· Tomorrow I am visiting Bologna.
  • Alle nove vado al museo.· At nine I am going to the museum.
  • A pranzo mangio in centro.· At lunch I am eating in the centre.
  • Cara Emma, oggi sono a Bologna.· Dear Emma, today I am in Bologna.

Model and editing check

Use the models as sentence frames, but change the information. Check verbs, agreement, small words, spelling, accents, and punctuation before you finish.

  • La città è bella e vivace.· The city is beautiful and lively.
  • Visito due musei e una chiesa.· I visit two museums and a church.
  • La sera incontro un’amica italiana.· In the evening I meet an Italian friend.
  • A presto da Bologna!· See you soon from Bologna!
