Evidence mission
Correct a false 2040 claim and give a testable forecast.
Cumulative evidence and grammar check
Answer the ten questions without notes, then use the article and interview to explain each correction. Check whether a number is an observation, whether a technology action is approved, and whether a future form describes a later sequence or a tentative inference. The grammatical form must fit the degree of certainty.
- La linea A è stata puntuale in 78 partenze osservate su 100.· Line A was on time in 78 of 100 observed departures.
- La causa dello scarto non è stata misurata.· The cause of the difference was not measured.
- Se il progetto sarà finanziato, entro il 2030 avremo avviato una prova.· If the project is funded, we will have started a trial by 2030.
- La scheda sarà ancora in revisione: è un’ipotesi da controllare.· The sheet may still be under review: that is a hypothesis to check.
Final communication mission
A fictional local paper now claims that the 2026 sample proves traffic-light priority has already worked and that every bus will be on time in 2040. You are Paola. Record a 90-second public correction and write a 180–220-word email to the planning committee. In both outputs, identify the actual four-week sample and reject the untested cause. In the email, propose a comparable before-and-after test, name an access check, and give one conditional 2030 sequence with the future perfect. If you use a future form for probability, label it as an inference that needs a source check. End with one question the committee must answer before approval. Do not invent a completed intervention or a measured 2040 result.
- Il campione non dimostra che la priorità semaforica abbia funzionato.· The sample does not show that traffic-light priority worked.
- Proponiamo una prova con la stessa soglia di puntualità.· We propose a trial with the same punctuality threshold.
- Quando avremo confrontato periodi simili, potremo valutare il cambiamento.· When we have compared similar periods, we will be able to assess the change.
- Chi verificherà l’accessibilità prima di installare le nuove strutture?· Who will check access before new structures are installed?
