Final communication mission
Your Italian friend is making a small exhibition called Then and Now. Record a 60–90 second description of one old photograph from your childhood for the exhibition. Say where you lived, what the place was like, two things you usually did, and one event that happened on a particular day. End by saying what is different today. Use the imperfetto for past settings and habits and passato prossimo for the single event. A listener must be able to separate the regular routine from that event.
- Mentre guardavo la TV, ha telefonato mia nonna.· While I was watching TV, my grandmother called.
- Ogni estate andavamo al mare.· Every summer we used to go to the seaside.
