Writing task

Choose one task: write 80 words about a family, or write 80 words about a home. Include one opening sentence, six detailed sentences, and one closing sentence.

Check every possessive against the noun that follows it. Check ho, hai, ha, and hanno for the silent h.

• La mia famiglia non è molto grande.· My family is not very large.
• Ho una sorella più giovane.· I have a younger sister.
• Mia sorella ha diciotto anni.· My sister is eighteen years old.
• I nostri genitori vivono a York.· Our parents live in York.

Model and editing check

Use the models as sentence frames, but change the information. Check verbs, agreement, small words, spelling, accents, and punctuation before you finish.

• La nostra casa è vicino al centro.· Our house is near the centre.
